Licensing Tourist Guide

This service is provided by Tourism Development Department under the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism for those who wish to obtain license as a Tour Guide.

This is an offline/counter service

General Prerequisite / Criteria

  • The following documentations are required to apply for this service :
    • Copy of Identity Card.
    • Copy of Certificate of Tourist Guide Course from Educational Institution recognized by Tourism Development Department. 
    • Copy of Medical Certificate from registered clinics.
Fees :

  • Service Fee for new application for 1 Year - $50

How to use the Service

  • Applicant is required to fill in the  Borang Permohonan Lesen Pemandu Pelancong and submit to :
    • 3rd Floor, Unit Perlesenan dan Pendaftaran, Jabatan Kemajuan Pelancongan, Kementerian Sumber-Sumber Utama dan Pelancongan.
  • Day and Time for Submission :
    • Monday to Thursday (8am - 11am / 2pm - 3pm)
    • Saturday (8am - 10am only)
