Application of National Housing Schemes

This service is provided by Housing Development Department under the Ministry of Development for those who wish to apply for housing under the National Housing Scheme.

General Prerequisite / Criteria

  •  Applicants must be citizens of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
  •  The applicant must be at least 18 years old above at the date of application and dependant.
  •  The applicant or spouse does not have a land grant or has a land that cannot be developed according to certain Government criteria and subject to verification.
  •  The applicant must earn not less than $ 445.00 and not exceeding $ 3,030.00.

How to use the Service

  •  Application form must be attached with the following documents :-
    • Copy of IC of applicants
    • Copy of Marriage / Divorce Certificate 
    • Appointment Letter of monthly/daily salary if working the Government
    • Confirmation letter from employer / firm if working with private sector. 
    • Business License for the applicants that have their own business.
    • Offer Letter to pursue further studies from the University / Institute of Technology / Nurses Colleges / Teachers Colleges and any Institute of Higher Education both internally and internationally, that is HND courses and above.
