• Application form should be submitted to the Department of Forestry at least ONE MONTH before the date of entry into forest reserves.
• Location of Forest Reserves to be entered and the period of time required should be clearly stated in the application form.
  
• The maximum validity period of a User Permit is ONE YEAR.
  
• Applicants must include a copy of the following documents:-
  
• A copy of the ID card / passport of the applicant and group members.
  
• A copy of the Form 500 Department of L:abour / Employment Pass / Special Authorization Letter (only if necessary).
  
• The applicant must ensure that the application form is filled in completely. Incomplete application from will be rejected. Any application submitted by e-mail will not be accepted.
•  A copy of the report or research project or program shall be given to Unit Permits & Licenses after the project is completed.
  
• Forestry Department shall not responsible for any loss and damage to properties, accidents and injuries, whether mild or severe, or involving loss of life or not to the applicant and members of the group while in the Forest Reserve.
  

How to use the Service

• Received submitted application form at the counter from the applicant. Applicant may download the form here.
  
• Review the application form. The form with incomplete details will be returned back to the applicant.
  
• Completed application will be submitted to Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Royal Brunei Police Forces for further comments (feedback from them within 2 weeks) and one more week for endorsement from Forestry Department.
