Application for license to take forest produce on prepayment of royalty (Form 2)

This services is provided by the Forestry Department under the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism.

The application is for the taking of License for permission to take forest produce with certain conditions.

This is an offline/counter service

General Prerequisite/ Criteria

Applicant shall be citizen of Brunei or Permanent Resident
Forest products cannot be traded
License will be given after all processes are required to be fulfilled by the applicant
Applicant need to specify the quantity and type of forest produce to be taken
Applicant is required to pay the service fee and calculated royalty before the issuance of the licence
Licence is valid for 1 month

Registration Fee :

Royalty payment for forest produce will be charged in addition with service charge of $10.00 for each approved application.

How to use the Service

Received and review application form submitted at the counter (Incomplete from will be returned to the applicant and the fully completed form will be further processed). Form can be downloaded here.
Conduct field inspections for tree measurement and royalty calculations.
Application to be checked and verified by the Head of Permit and License.
Application approved by DIrector of Forestry.
The sawmilling Unit to work in the field to do tree marking (Arrow Chop and Clearance Chop).
