Application for Yellow Identity Card

Yellow Identity card is a medium where information is collected and stored for registration purposes and individual identifications according to the laws and regulations requirements. Only for Bruneian citizens aged 12 years and above.

Criteria

For new applicants:

Complete the application form
Previous Identity card
Original and copy of Identity Card
Original and a copy of Birth Certificates (if applicable)
Original and a copy of both applicants Citizenship Certificates and Declaration of Citizenship
Applicants father identity card must be shown if applicants just reach 12 years of age
Recently retired Royal Brunei Arm Forces Personnel must enclose:

Original and a copy of completion of RBAF service letter
Original and a copy of RBAF Services Certificates/ Red Book (Book Chapter 14)

Recently retired Royal Brunei Police Force must enclose:

Original and a copy of completion of RBPF service letter

Fee

Registration BND $15.00
Photographs BND $5.00

Procedure

Please complete the application form and submit, along with required documents, to the National Registration section at the Immigration & National Registration Department.
